While my parents were here, we decided to take an architecture river cruise. Besides the fact that I got sunburned (because I am the palest person on earth and always get sunburned), it was a nice way to spend an hour or so. While I learned a great deal from the tour, what I enjoyed most was zoning out from the guide for a bit, scanning the skyline for the buildings I found visually interesting, and snapping photos of those. Chicago, you are one beautiful city.
